OUR FIRST ACTIVITY OF THE SEMESTER!!!!

Hey ya’ll! What’s cooking ya’ll?? Ok. That came out as lame as a tissue box. Whatever that means. LOL!

Anyway. Welcome to the second part of wacKOS blog update for semester 2, 2007/2008!!! Well, we’ve seen the progresses and let us move on to the activities!!! Yipee-yay-yay! =D

The first activity we had was…drum roll please……..an AUDITION FOR WACKOS PLAY!!!!! It was the FIRST audition ever held in Kulliyyah of Science! So, wacKOS really IS bringing all of you something different ain’t it? 

The Human Resource bureu was given the full responsibility in organizing the audition as well as the play. The Secretary General was also involved in the casting. As usual, the Promotion and Marketing bureu had to stick their nosses and begin the promotion while threatning the students to get involve. YES! We, the Marketing and Promotion people actually stick knives and forks to students’ throats to ensure that they will get themselves involve in our activity. (seriously. you ACTUALLY believe that???? HAHA! Just kidding folks! ) WacKOS is full of nice people! Hmmm…whatever that means. LOL! Let’s get back to bussiness shall we? Hehehehe V(^_^) Our Project Manager also got herself busy in writting the script and BELIEVE ME, she could NOT stop writting! The script was getting more and more thicker by each day! (literally speaking). God…talking about the minds of creative people! NGAHAHAHAH!

Here’s how we promoted the audition:

1) we made a main poster. This is a MUST procedure in any promoting bussinesses. The poster was made by our very own Manager of the Promotion and Marketing bureu. I wish that i have the softcopy of the poster right here with me but sadly, it is in Kuantan. Sorry folks.

 

2) we also made some BIG board posters by hands, to attract more people. It was made by 3 girls within the bureu, including myself and received some extra help from someone from Finance and also Resource and Development. (Thanks you guys for lending your hands!) Again. I REALLY wished that i took some pictures of the boards because they were REALLY superb! (Good job ya’ll!!) But again, we didnt. (Boo-hoo!) We put up the boards at the Kulliyyah of Science’s lobby, welcoming the students from morning till evening. Along with the EYE-CATCHING boards, we included our main and official poster as well as a newsflash regarding our next activity (want to know what was our next activity??? stay tune!!!!).

3) we also made handbills for passerby.

 

As you all know by now, the audition was held for wacKOS play. We were looking for any potential actors and actresses. We were also looking for any students who are interested and have some backgrounds in coral speaking (we included the coral speaking within the play. How on earth we ever did that??? Well. You need to keep on reading and wait for our upcoming post. =D)

The turn up for the audition was pretty good especially for the coral speaking. The turn up for the casting was quiet bad. (People get nervous on stage i guess, especially when you have to act and sometimes stand ALONE, being the dramaqueen on stage..that is something VERY frightening to face). However, we overcome the short turn ups. We managed to gather as many people as we could. Even the mainboard members were in it. Well. Mostly i might add, it was actually a call of desperation. LOL!
